Hello, it's me.
Nicole Schneeberger.

You were always good at maths, and always silent when it came to being artistic, even as a child. You were always well behaved, performing, doing whatever you could; but you simply weren’t any good at being artistic. In the end, you became absolutely convinced of this. In fact, they even ticked you off when you were singing at school.

You simply weren’t artistic! The idea was engraved in stone!

Okay. Well, if you weren't artistic, at least you were consistent. You worked hard at university. Doing what you thought you were best at and enjoyed. Business administration. Everything always only happened inside your head – well, nearly always. That worked – at least you were able to achieve results.

Then a new person came into your life. Someone you could bake cakes with. Someone who taught you to use your hands. Gradually your hands learned to give expression to your thoughts, your feelings. And you became playful. You discovered something you always liked doing – but mostly something you merely would have liked to do.

Photography.

Once again, you were, of course, conscientious, taking photography courses and so on. At last you found your artistic streak, and could focus all your energy on it.

YOU are now ME:
Nicole Schneeberger, mother of two brilliant children, teacher, photographer.
